The Freeride Program is for young snowsports athletes ages 8 and up who choose to push their skiing and snowboarding abilities to the next level. These athletes want to challenge themselves learning how to safely ski steeps, take jumps and rip the whole mountain.

Coaches will group riders together based on ability level so that skills can be honed at the appropriate level. The groups work on both park and big mountain skills. Coaches will be exploring all the terrain at Lost Trail Ski Area to broaden and develop skills for these young athletes. Most of the team members participated in the All-Mountain program for several years. The Freeride Program is an opportunity to push themselves further.
There will be an on-snow skills assessment to determine if a candidate is ready for the group.

The Freeride Program is split by ability, Saturdays is for older more advanced riders and Sunday is geared to younger less skilled riders.
