SHOP/LIFT TECHNICIAN:

Wage: DOE 

Status: Year-round

Job Summary: Assist in conducting and documenting all lift inspections and monitoring the conditions of the lifts and the equipment used for maintaining the lifts. (Hall lifts with SkyTrac drives)

Job Responsibilities/Duties/Tasks include the following:

• Inspect, rebuild, replace and document ski lift equipment to ensure lift compliance with all regulations and specifications.
• Conduct and document daily pre-operational inspections
• Regularly monitor the condition of Hall manufactured lifts and react to discrepancies accordingly
• Perform mechanical work on equipment.
• Perform maintenance and repairs in a safe manner and in compliance with established guidelines.
• Assist in removal/relocation of snow and ice from equipment and trails.
• Advise supervisor of adverse conditions or problems as appropriate.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and policies.
• Effectively communicate with other employees/supervisors both in person and via telephone/two-way radio.

Skills & Experience: 

• Valid driver’s license required and must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to work outside during inclement weather.
• Must be comfortable riding in a work chair and climbing/working on the ski lift towers using a harness.
