Lost Trail Ski Area is excited to, once again offer our Lost Trail Freeride Team.
The team is for young snowsports athletes ages 8 and up who choose to push their skiing and snowboarding abilities to the next level. These athletes want to challenge themselves, be part of a team and represent the Lost Trail Ski Area community in events and competitions.
Coaches will group riders together based on ability level so that skills can be honed at the appropriate level. The groups work on both park and big mountain skills. Coaches will be exploring all the terrain at Lost Trail Ski Area to broaden and develop skills for these young athletes. Most of the team members participated in the All-Mountain program for several years. The Freeride Team is an opportunity to push themselves further.
There will be an on-snow skills assessment to determine if a candidate is ready for the team.
Team members must be able to ride ALL runs at Lost Trail Ski Area at an Advanced or Expert level. Applications will be accepted through the Snowsports School Office.
